Organise a Vote 100 event
2018 is a special year for our local democracy, because it marks the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act, which first gave 8.5 million women (and all men aged over 21) the opportunity to vote.
We’re celebrating this important milestone in the UK’s democratic history throughout the year, and we’re encouraging local organisations to get involved. If you’d like to run a Vote 100 event, we can help by sharing information with you and by promoting your events and activities.
